Since 2004, the owner of Northwoods Insurance Agency has been a self-described "insurance nerd," though her career began quite unexpectedly. Originally hired as a temp just to answer phones, she had no prior industry experience. However, within her first two weeks, she discovered a genuine passion for the complexities of insurance and immediately began classes to earn her license. That early spark eventually led to the realization of a lifelong dream in 2019, when she founded Northwoods Insurance Agency. Having lived and raised her family in the area, she possesses a deep, personal understanding of the specific protections local families and businesses need.

Her commitment to her clients is mirrored by her devotion to her own large family, which includes six Children, 3 Sons in Law and 10 Grandkids. Your insurance Girl Jess is also known as Honey, Jessie, Mama, Gramma & MeMaw! When she isn't at the agency, Jess loves the outdoors—whether she's boating on the Intracoastal waterway, kayaking NC Rivers, exploring the North Carolina mountains, or spending time with her beloved dogs. She has a true love for all of North Carolina.
